Intro:

This training aims to teach you how to CAD efficiently and in a sensible way. There are currently 2 parts to this training.

Part 1 will teach how to CAD, and Part 2 will focus on CADing with moving parts(Belts & Pulleys, Chains & Sprockets, Gears). (coming soon prob)

If you face any struggles throughout this training, please ask me(Koh Hirota) in Slack, or any veteran member you would feel comfortable asking.

If you encounter any issues with this training (e.g., incorrect links or typos) or have any feedback, please contact me.

Huge thanks to 8724 for hosting CADvent, which I based Part 1 off of.

Getting Started:

Installing commonly used FeatureScripts:

FeatureScripts(FS) in onshape is like extensions in your browser. They let you do tasks that are complicated(or impossible) in vanilla onshape in a much simpler manner.

There are a couple of commonly used FS in the FRC realm, so it’s important that you have these installed.
